Proof of financial capability
We request that you proof your ability to pay your tuition fees for your first year of study upon enrollment, by either of the following

You may present a notarized and translated statement signed by your parents or other relatives that they will support you financially.

We accept bank statements from the last four months indicating that your earnings are higher than €700/month.

You may set up a locked bank account upon which the tuition funds can be predeposited. Withdrawals from such accounts will only be possible during the academic year at fixed amounts in monthly intervals towards only one specificied beneficiary (here the university).

A German resident may commit himself to support you.

Any scholarship certification that you can present will also help you to prove that you are financially capable of furnishing the tuition fees.
Insurance requirements
The health insurance policy of your home country has to be validated by a German state insurance agency. To apply for insurance recognition, your EU passport will be required and you will need to bring along either an E 101 or E109 issued by your home country's insurance agency. The recognition certificate will be required prior to enrollment at SRH University of Applied Sciences Berlin.
UPON YOUR ARRIVAL IN GERMANY
Government Registration
Within seven days of your arrival, you are required to register at
Berlin authorities. For this, your passport and your rental agreement, or equivalent will be necessary. Once you are registered as a student, you will receive a government certificate which entitles you to a €110 welcome fee from the state, subsequently paid out through SRH University Berlin.
Bank account in Germany
In order to faciliate easy fund transfer within Germany it is recommended to open a bank account in Germany. Through our partner at Berliner Bank, our students are eligible to a bank account without account fees as well as a discount card applicable to various stores and museums in Berlin.
